Nigerian filmmaker Cheta Chukwu is set to develop his latest feature, “Love is a Deeper Shade of Red,” at the 2024 Torino Film Lab (TFL).

What’s the Buzz?

TFL Extended – Film is a premier program designed for international audiovisual professionals with fiction feature projects in early development. It’s an immersive workshop that delves deep into the writing process, providing participants with invaluable opportunities for growth and collaboration.

During the workshop, attendees engage in group sessions and one-on-one meetings with top-tier tutors. This creative support team helps participants refine their projects, ensuring they meet audience and market expectations.

The program’s goal is to nurture the creative process, helping filmmakers craft compelling stories that resonate globally. Over a 4.5-day intensive trajectory, participants receive tailored coaching and training to meet their professional needs. Additionally, they become part of the TFL community, a network of international professionals ripe with opportunities for collaboration and networking.

But it doesn’t end there. After the workshop, participants have around two months to refine their materials, with continued support and consultancy from their tutors via an online follow-up session. TFL Extended – Film 2024 is proudly organized in partnership with the Netherlands Film Fund.
